What is Academic Subject Tutoring?

Academic Subject Tutoring is part of the range of services we offer at PrepTutors. It is aimed at helping students improve GPAs, improve student confidence, and teaching students the concepts they need to succeed in their classes. Academic Subject Tutoring sessions are informative yet enjoyable and engaging so you or your student can get the most out of what you pay for.

How do the sessions work?

Academic Subject Tutoring sessions can be prescheduled with one of our expert tutors on the booking page. Availability may vary from week to week, but you can always reach out to us to schedule a set time every week if you would like to have consistent sessions. Sessions are done online through the videoconferencing platform Zoom because of its quality, flexibility, and availability. After each session you will get a brief session review in writing covering the topics that were discussed and the activities completed.

How does payment work?

Payments are completed online through our secure payment portal. Payments are made before each session or in bulk if you buy multiple sessions in advance at a discount.

What is the price?

At PrepTutors, we believe in simple, clear pricing without any added fees or service charges. We also believe that you shouldn't have to haggle with a representative just to get a price for a service you want. To that end, we offer affordable pricing compared to that of other tutoring services who often charge much more for lower quality service. Our academic tutoring is therefore priced at $50 / hr with the option for getting discounts if you pay for multiple sessions up front.
